OSHA Safe + Sound Week Set for Aug. 7-13

Thousands of organizations participate each year in Safe + Sound Week, organized by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Will you take the pledge to be part of this year’s event from Aug. 7-13?

Safe + Sound Week recognizes the successes of workplace health and safety programs and offers information and ideas on how to keep workers safe. Resources this year will also include information on mental health and well-being.

OSHA offers tools for developing a safety and health program that can help your organization prevent injuries, reduce costs, increase productivity, and much more. Even if you already have a plan in place, Safe + Sound Week is an annual reminder to revisit it and ensure it is up to date.

OSHA provides resources aimed at management leadership, worker participation, and identifying and controlling hazards as the keys to a successful program. Utilize them to help make your safety plan as effective as possible.

BCSP collaborates with OSHA to keep workplaces safe as part of the BCSP-OSHA Alliance.

 Safety certification can go a long way in building a culture of safety.
