OSHA Alliance

A partnership improving the safety and health of American workers.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), and the BCSP Foundation partner to foster stronger safety and health practices and programs that improve American workplaces. As part of the OSHA Alliance, partners emphasize effective training, educational webinars, professional safety and health certifications, and safety and health programs.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

To advance safety practice, the partners:

  • collaborate on, share, and disseminate safety and health information such as occupational safety and health laws, standards, and the rights and responsibilities of workers and employers.
  • provide opportunities to participate in the rulemaking process with OSHA and work with the administration in the creation of guidance documents promoting the advancement of safety and health programs and the role of safety and health practitioners.
  • identify OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Centers’ classes that contribute to various BCSP professional certifications’ educational and eligibility criteria and support the continued development of effective training and educational webinars for safety and health practitioners.

BCSP encourages use of OSHA resources and participation in the agency’s annual Safe+Sound and National Safety Stand-Down campaigns. Find further information on our BCSP Partners page.
