Over 7,000 STS and STSCs Sponsored

Over 7,000 STS and STSCs SponsoredThe Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) and Safety Trained Supervisor Contruction (STSC) Sponsorship Program recently grew to include over 7,000 certificants. In total, over 10,000 frontline supervisors, foremen, safety practitioners, and others now hold the STS or STSC certification.

STS and STSC sponsor organizations support their supervisors’ achieving certification financially, through training, or as paths to career advancement. Sponsors are listed on the BCSP website, along with their number of STS and STSC certificants, as recognition of their commitment to safety.

In the recent update of sponsor numbers, Black and Veatch and Sinclair Wyoming Refining Company reached a milestone of supporting 100 or more employees in attaining certification, becoming Diamond Class sponsors. Many other organizations grew their numbers as well.

For more information, visit the STS and STSC Sponsorship Program webpage.

Interviews with several sponsors will be included in the upcoming BCSP Partners eNewsletter.
