Recertification
Staying up to date with industry knowledge and best practices is critical to high-level performance. That’s why BCSP certificants demonstrate their commitment to continual learning through the recertification process, leading the way in advancing safety, health, and environmental practice.
BCSP certificants are required to achieve a designated number of points each recertification cycle through various activity categories and submit their activities via an online worksheet in My Profile. Details concerning eligible activities, how to claim points, and required documentation for each activity can be found in the Recertification Guide.

Recertification Schedule
Recertification cycles normally run five (5) years, starting July 1 and ending June 30 of the fifth year. For those just achieving certification, the first cycle is complete on June 30 following five (5) years.
- Recertification worksheets must be submitted no later than July 31 after the recertification cycle ends.
- Recertification points should be logged in My Profile as you earn them.
- BCSP’s Customer Engagement Services can assist with any concerns.
