Participate in Safe + Sound as Part of National Safety Month

Participate in Safe + Sound as Part of National Safety MonthAs part of National Safety Month, BCSP is encouraging safety professionals to take part in Safe + Sound Week.

Taking place between August 13-19, 2018, Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide event seeking to raise awareness and understanding of the value of safety and health programs. These programs include: management leadership, worker participation, and a structured plan for diagnosing and fixing hazards in workplaces.

Safe + Sound Week is designed to help organizations procure successful safety and health programs that can diagnose and rectify hazards in the workplace; preventing injury and illness. It can also help get your program started or energize an existing program.

We encourage all organizations that are looking for an opportunity to show their commitment to safety to workers, customers, and the public to take part in Safe + Sound Week.

For more information, please visit the Safe + Sound Week website. In addition to information on joining Safe + Sound Week, the site includes links on choosing safety areas you may want to improve, helpful tools and graphics that can be used to promote and plan your safety event and information on downloading certificates of recognition following the event.

You can join the Safe + Sound Week webinar on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 1 PM for a detailed explanation on Safe + Sound Week. You can also join the Safe + Sound Campaign to become a year-round Safe + Sound member which includes information on safety and health programs, a calendar of events, and more!
