New OHST Examination to be Released August 1, 2017

The OHST5 examination will be released on August 1, 2017. The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) has completed beta testing for the new exam. Any candidate who purchased the old exam form, the OHST4, before August 1, 2017, will have two (2) months after that date to sit for that exam form or will be automatically switched to the new OHST5 exam form.

Information gathered during the beta test was used in the validation of the examination’s items by a third-party psychometrician, ensuring the continuing quality of the examination.
