OSHA to Kick Off Safe + Sound Week

OSHA to Kick Off Safe + Sound Week

OSHA to Kick Off Safe + Sound WeekBCSP, in partnership with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), is excited to be participating in the Safe + Sound Week campaign which begins on August 10.

Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide event designed to celebrate the successes of businesses that have adopted safety as a core value and implemented safety and health programs in their workplaces. While Safe + Sound Week is centered around celebration of safe workplaces and businesses, the movement is a year-round campaign that encourages all businesses to participate in safety.

There are many ways to participate in Safe + Sound Week. Throughout the week of August 10-16, use #SafeAndSoundAtWork to share safety accomplishments over social media. You can also host events for your workers and/or community. More information can be found at OSHA’s website

We’d like to hear from you! If you have examples of your employer enacting safety programs or have Safe + Sound stories from last year, please share them with us! We would love to feature stories of companies making sure their employees go home safe and sound! Please contact BCSP’s Senior Manager, Communications with the subject line “Safe + Sound Week Stories” if you would like to share!
