Eligibility/Application

Effective Date: Ongoing

• Qualified Academic Programs (QAPs) and Qualified Equivalent Programs (QEPs), awarding the Graduate Safety Practitioner® (GSP®) and Transitional Safety Practitioner (TSP), are updated quarterly and can be found listed on the programs’ respective pages.

Examination

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

• The Safety Trained Supervisor® (STS®) exam will be updated for all candidates on this date. Details can be found in the STS Exam Blueprint, downloadable from BCSP.ORG/STS.

Recertification/Renewal

Effective Date: Ongoing

• Credentials granting recertification points are updated quarterly, and can always be found in the Recertification Guide’s Category 10.
