BCSP Foundation and Other Organizations Offer Student Scholarships

BCSP Foundation Scholarship Details

The BCSP Foundation is pleased to provide support for students currently enrolled in an ABET/AABI-accredited Qualified Academic Program (QAP). Scholarships will be made on behalf of the qualified candidates directly to their academic institutions to offset tuition or expenses related to the pursuit of their SH&E degrees. Awards will be made following the scholarship application and review process.

American Society of Safety Professional Foundation Scholarship Details

Since 1990, the ASSP Foundation has awarded more than $4 million in scholarships and professional education grants to students beginning their studies in occupational safety and professionals seeking to continue their education. The ASSP Foundation offers nearly 150 awards each year ranging from $500 to $15,000.

Key Dates: 

  • October 15 — Online Applications Open
  • January 31 — Applications Due
  • May 15 — Awards Announced

American Industrial Hygiene Foundation (AIHF) Scholarship Details

Over the past 30 years, the AIHF has awarded more than 870 scholarships totaling nearly $2.3 million to students dedicated to studying industrial hygiene and/or occupational and environmental safety.

  • Early October — Application Program Opens

Scholarship Application Process

Deadlines and dates have not yet been set for this year’s application process. Visit the AIHA Application and Eligibility site regularly for updates to important information regarding application due dates and awarded dates. The AIHA site includes a list of programs whose students are encouraged to apply. If you are not enrolled in one of the listed programs, you are still encouraged to apply, but an extra step is required.

The AGC Education and Research Foundation Scholarship Program Details

The AGC Education and Research Foundation offers undergrad and graduate level scholarships to students enrolled in ABET or ACCE-accredited construction management or construction related engineering programs. Over $10 million in scholarships has been awarded to more than 4,000 students.

Key Dates: 

  • July 1 — Applications Open
  • November 1 — Applications Close

Scholarship Application Process

Applicants for the undergrad scholarship must be rising college sophomores, juniors in four-year programs, or rising seniors in five-year programs at the time the scholarship is awarded. Applications for the graduate scholarship must be either college seniors enrolled in ABET or ACCE-accredited construction or civil engineering programs, or persons possessing undergraduate construction or civil engineering degrees from such accredited programs.
