Those who hold the Government of India's Diploma in Industrial Safety qualify for the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) examination by waiver of the Associate Safety Professional (ASP). As long as this agreement is in effect, an applicant in good standing with that body, who meets any continuing requirements, and meets the eligibility requirements of BCSP will have the opportunity to apply for the CSP.

The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) is proud to announce the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) will become an independent certification in the fourth quarter of 2014.
