BCSP Extends Temporary Telework Policy Until June 8, 2020

Updates to BCSP Policy Due to Coronavirus

Published on Monday, March 16, 2020

BCSP has implemented a temporary telework policy in response to the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and will be operating according to that policy until June 8, 2020.

We have taken this precautionary measure as an organization dedicated to safety and health leadership. With our advance planning we anticipate minimal disruption of our ability to serve you.

BCSP staff will continue to work during this time. If you require assistance, please contact us at [email protected] or use the live chat feature at bcsp.org.

We appreciate your patience and have included the following answers to questions you may have related to our temporary remote work situation:

Will this affect my application?

No, your application will be received and reviewed the same as it would if the office was open.

Will this affect the scheduling of my exam/my scheduled exam?

Pearson VUE temporarily closed certain testing centers until May 1, 2020. BCSP has expanded the number of testing centers offering exams to include over 1,400 additional sites during this time. Specifics on Pearson VUE's response and available testing centers can be found on their website here.

Adjusting to this situation, BCSP will be granting those whose applications were accepted prior to the implementation of this policy a 90-day extension to their eligibility time period.

How do I contact BCSP Certification Services?

While you may call us, our phone hours will be limited from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (ET) during this time. We can most easily be reached via our [email protected] email or the live chat feature at bcsp.org.

Will this affect business I have scheduled at the BCSP office?

Should you be part of a panel or workshop scheduled during this time, you will receive notification from BCSP staff concerning potential alternative plans.

We are doing our best to ensure everyone is accommodated and our staff is safe. Thank you for your understanding.
