Beginning with the 2019 certification renewal cycle in November of 2018, annual renewal fees, assessment dates, and late fee amounts will change according to the following chart:
Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding these changes:
When is my renewal fee due?
Your renewal fee is due upon receipt. The last day to pay your renewal fee(s) before being assessed a late fee is January 1.
Why have the renewal fees increased?
BCSP suspended regular fee increases due to the economic downturn nearly 10 years ago. We have found it necessary at this time to increase renewal fees as we continue our efforts to build recognition of your certifications, the safety practice, and advance the profession.
Why have the renewal fee dates changed?
The renewal fee due dates have been moved forward to encourage timelier payment.
Why have the renewal late fees increased?
This too is an effort made to ensure payments are on time.
What is the part about donating to the BCSP Foundation?
You now have the opportunity to make an impact in helping us advance the safety industry and develop young safety professionals. You can make a donation to the BCSP Foundation at checkout when you pay your renewal fee.
