Customer Service and Community Service in the Month of October

Colan Holmes - Friday, October 28, 2011
The first week of October was Customer Service Appreciation week. Board of Certified Safety Professionals' Customer Service staff enjoyed good food and fun activities, making root beer floats and participating in scavenger hunts. Each day had a theme. In the course of several days Customer Service traveled through different decades, from the '50s to the '80s. Clothes became more colorful and hair exploded from ribbons to become dos of giant proportion.

One day was dedicated to wearing pink. October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and BCSP staff have traditionally raised money to support research for a cure. This year was no different. A few staff members even participated in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k walk.

Everyone took part in raising money throughout the office and, one week later, we were all in pink.

Hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween!

Having Fun

Sean McDevitt - Tuesday, September 22, 2009
When something special happens here at BCSP, we are ready to celebrate... usually with cake!  Here are a few pictures of our most recent celebrations.

Surprise Pre-Wedding Party for Alexis Dodd

Alexis is totally surprised by the cake.

Alexis and Kimmy pass out slices of the cake.

Roger Brauer's Last Day as Executive Director

A totally surprised Roger sees more cake and a "private" lunch.

Brandishing the cake knife, Roger threatens the staff one last time.

Jana Pflugmacher: BCSPs first employee with over 20 years of dedicated service

The traditional twenty year gifts: A bird hat, flower necklace and clown glasses.

Dennis passes out cake to the staff while Roger declines to comment on his knife skills.
