Fund History

BCSP has established a BCSP Scholarship Fund within the American Society of Safety Engineers Foundation (ASSEF). The goal is to provide another way to encourage entry into and advancement in the safety profession.

Any scholarships awarded from this fund will carry the BCSP name and may be coupled with individual names. BCSP contributed financially to get the overall scholarship program created and underway.

The fund is managed by ASSEF. ASSEF selects the scholarship recipients and awards the scholarships. BCSP will oversee certain aspects of the program and name BCSP-affiliated scholarship awards.

Anyone can contribute any amount to the BCSP Scholarship Fund. Use the My Contribution to the BCSP Scholarship Fund Form at right if you wish to contribute. Check contributions should be sent directly to ASSEF, made payable to the ASSE Foundation, and marked for the BCSP Scholarship Fund. The BCSP Scholarship Fund has reached an endowed level to ensure perpetual awarding of scholarships.
