May 21, 2014

New Certified Environmental, Safety and Health Trainer (CET) Examination ReleasedThe Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) has completed beta testing for the CET examination and is now releasing the new, 200-question version to safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) trainers.

“BCSP appreciates all certificants who participated in the beta test of the CET examination,” says Dr. Treasa Turnbeaugh, CSP, CET, BCSP CEO. “Their support provided us with information that will maintain the CET as an outstanding certification with proven value.”

Information gathered during the beta test was used in the validation of the examination’s items by a third-party psychometrician, ensuring the quality of the examination.

With the evaluation of the CET examination completed, those who participated in the beta test can expect to receive their results in the next few weeks.

SH&E practitioners who aim to achieve the CET have access to the latest examination references and a Self-Assessment Examination. Those interested can find these items, as well as application material at BCSP CET page.
