Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding these changes:

When is my renewal fee due?

Your renewal fee is due upon receipt. The last day to pay your renewal fee(s) before being assessed a late fee is January 1.

Why have the renewal fees increased?

BCSP suspended regular fee increases due to the economic downturn nearly 10 years ago. We have found it necessary at this time to increase renewal fees as we continue our efforts to build recognition of your certifications, the safety practice, and advance the profession.

Why have the renewal fee dates changed?

The renewal fee due dates have been moved forward to encourage timelier payment.

Why have the renewal late fees increased?

This too is an effort made to ensure payments are on time.
